I don’t know where the time goes. It’s been a long time since I visited with Aunt Shirley but I loved her very much. I have so many wonderful memories of her making special time for me during family events. Taking walks after dinner to have special Aunt-niece talks. She was taken too soon and will be missed very much.

I sent this email to anyone that I remembered knew Shirley, but our sincerest sympathy goes to her family. We will miss her & our prayers for healing are with all of you. Sincerely, Joan & John
“Dear Friends, I received a phone call from Shirley’s sister-in-law tonight. It was a shock to hear that Shirley died on 2/1/21. Pam found Shirley’s address book & knew Shirley spoke of John & I often, so she called & I told her I would try to email anyone I could think knew her. Thought of the many years: from our Potluck Dinners at the clubhouse, to watching some of the neighbor’s dogs, to sharing Touch for Health classes & EFT at our church, or just enjoying time with her at my 70th Birthday Party! She also volunteered at Riverside Theatre & her team saw the shows before our team, so she would tell us what she thought about the show. Then we got to know her Mom when she would bring her to Potluck too. Before Coach & Barbara Smith passed, Shirley & Ellie enjoyed the conversations & many smiling times! Shirley, we loved you & will miss you. Please share with anyone that you know, knew Shirley, & let me know because Pam said she would call to let me know when they will have a Memorial Service at a later time.
Love, Joan & John”
