Theresa Jean Flescher, age 87, passed away December 21, 2018 surrounded by her family in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born December 17, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Clement and Rose Marie Castoria.
Prior to retirement, Theresa served as Vice President of Career Blazers, New York, NY.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach and enjoyed volunteering her time as an usher. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County.
Survivors include daughter, Susan (Vincent) Messina; son, Joseph (Rosemary) Flescher; 7 adoring grandchildren and 8 beloved great-grandchildren, known to the great-grandchildren as “Nana T”.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Flescher and daughter, Linda Minerva.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. John of the Cross, 7550 26th St, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in Theresa’s name, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
