Timothy Collins, 57, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Vero Beach, Florida. He was born in New York City, New York on June 13, 1960. He was a Certified Public Accountant at Hickey, Collins and Beach Chartered since 1982.
Timothy was an active member in the community through Vero Christian Church as he served in ministries. He was also a sponsor of local running events and a member of the Vero Beach Notre Dame Alumni Club.
His hobbies included being an avid marathon runner, a member of the 50 States Marathon Club and completing 47 states. Timothy also enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf, traveling, spending time with his family, having a great interest in genealogy and being a fan of sports, mainly of Notre Dame football after graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1982.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lou Ann Collins of Vero Beach, Florida and his daughter Lauren (Christopher) Folds of Vero Beach, Florida. His siblings Kevin (Susan) Collins of Alpharetta, Georgia, Christopher (Holly) Collins of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Kelly (Chris) Rogers of Vero Beach, Florida, followed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. His parents Thomas and Elizabeth Collins preceded him in death.
Celebration of life will be held at Vero Christian Church on June 6, 2018 at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Tom Lockwood Memorial Fund at Vero Christian Church, 3250 9th Street SW Vero Beach, Florida 32968.
