Virginia Olive Luther, 99, of Vero Beach, formerly of Buffalo, NY, died peacefully in her sleep on July 14th, 2016.
She is predeceased by her husbands, Dr. Wesley C. Luther and William J. Davis.
Mrs. Luther is survived by her son, James K. Davis of Vero Beach, grandchildren, Renee P. Davis of Charleston, WV, Sean M. Davis of Tampa, FL and Amber E. Hays of Las Vegas, NV, in addition to 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Luther graduated from Bennett High School and began her singing career with several Buffalo radio stations.
She was a contralto soloist with Central Presbyterian Church as well as other churches in New York City, Cincinnati, OH and Bradenton, FL.
Mrs. Luther was a member of the Wednesday Morning Musical and a lifelong member of the Beulah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Hamburg, NY.
She will be remembered by friends and family for her kind, loving spirit and generosity.
Interment will be at Williamsville Cemetery in NY.
A private family service is planned.
