Wendy Dee Griffin of Vero Beach, FL peacefully passed away after a long battle with Stage 4 Brain Cancer on Tuesday, February 20th at VNA Hospice House. She was 44.
She was born on January 17, 1974 in Springfield, OH. In 1992 she married Jason Griffin, and together they had 2 children, Vada Padovano, 24 and Gillian Griffin, 19.
Wendy is survived by her precious baby boy, Samuel, 1; sister, Dawn Romero; and mother, Elizabeth Hoppes.
Wendy was predeceased by her father, Roger Hoppes.
A unique soul, Wendy was very passionate in all her endeavors. She will be greatly missed.
The family will greet friends Saturday, February 24th from 3-4 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4 p.m. with, Pastor Dave Foster, officiating.
Contributions may be made to the Samuel J. Arnold College Fund, care of Jane Ford, 8950 8th St., Vero Beach, FL 32968.
A Celebration of Life is also planned for March 24, 2018, plans to be shared when are confirmed.
