My sincere sympathy to Susan and Bill’s children. Some of us Walker/Runners spoke of him today on the route. We’ll miss running into Bill on the path. I can remember him being a great athlete 40+ years ago and he was always a friendly gentleman. I’m sure he will be missed.

I met Bill after I moved to Vero Beach, way back in 1978, and have many wonderful memories of doing many sports events together in the 1980s. I remember his soft-spoken, determined spirit, his willingness to be helpful to all, and his subtle wry humor. I put a short video memorial together, which can be downloaded from https://ancientexodus.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Remembering-Bill-Robinson.mp4. My sincere condolences to Susan, Amy, Nancy, and Russell.

My deepest sympathy to Susan and Bill’s children. I first met Bill when I joined the Sunrunners in 1979. He was a phenomenal athlete. In the early 80’s we often met at the High School track for sprint training, he would always fly by me. But above all, Bill was a true gentleman.

Bill was a former test pilot with Cessna Aircraft and later with Windecker where he saved his life by parachuting from a stricken aircraft. He was an aircraft engineer/manager at Piper Aircraft in 1973 working there for many years. Later he became a personal fitness trainer and also did running and walking with Sue plus participating in local “fun runs”. In retirement he took up the hobby of flying radio controlled model aircraft and will be missed by the guys at the field. He and Sue were together for a long time, sharing in life experiences on a daily basis. Mary and I are so sad for Sue and his family on his untimely passing.

I met Bill many years ago running with the local running club. Bill was always very nice and talkative… and loved to tell stories about the old days and all the events and fun he’d had over the years. In later years, I would see Bill and Susan out early in the morning doing the “bridge loop” I loved seeing them on those early morning runs because I always came away with a smile… My sincere condolences to Susan and all of the family.
